Alzheimer Association Support Group Meeting is held on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 2:00 pm at Oakmonte Village at Lake Mary starting on February 10, 2010. Those who are experiencing the challenges involved with the day-to-day caregiving of a loved one with Alzheimer's will be provided with updated information and emotional support. Give a Day, Get a Disney Day Volunteer event on Monday, February 15, 2010 starting at 1:30 pm.
The Jewish Pavilion is organizing a baking day that will entitle volunteers to a free ticket to Disney. Volunteers will meet at Oakmonte Village and the goal is to bake 288 hamantashen to be distributed at a later date to area seniors.
Those interested in participating will need to sign up through the Disney website. |
